The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency stated it's alarmed with regards to the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area every day. The provider point designed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all buyers and sassa status raise access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
